Findly
Find your people – not their exact location. Distance and direction instead of maps and tracking.
The problem
Anyone who has searched for someone at a festival knows it: "Where are you?" – "By the red tent." – "Which red tent?" Location sharing via Google Maps or WhatsApp works, but it's a complete disclosure of your exact location – permanent, precise, trackable.
Findly solves the problem differently: not sharing coordinates, but communicating proximity.
The modes
- 📍 Distance mode
Shows only the distance between users – no map, no exact location. Ideal for everyday life: staying connected without feeling watched.
- 🧭 Festival mode
Additionally shows a live direction via a compass arrow – without revealing the exact location. Perfect for festivals, concerts, clubs and large crowds.
- ⚡ Quick Signal
Send your group a striking signal with a custom message. Findly vibrates until the message is confirmed. Perfect for loud or hectic environments.
Groups & privacy
- Temporary invitation codes
Groups are created via QR code or short codes like "Wolf-42" – valid for only a few minutes, always requiring active confirmation.
- No public profiles
No map view, no exact location sharing, no permanent accounts that can be tracked.
- Full control
Every connection must be actively confirmed. Location sharing only runs while the group is active.
